Yes and no. This online-generator version is not a package - you generate adminpanel online and download it is a full Laravel project.
But we also have a Laravel package version - see here: https://github.com/LaravelDaily/quickadmin
In general, QuickAdmin’s function is to generate a NEW Laravel adminpanel, not add it to an existing project - because we cannot know/guess your project structure and generate code which would be suitable for your particular case.
That said, you can use a generated QuickAdmin for your project, in two ways:
Downloaded adminpanel is a full Laravel project. All you need to do is:
And that’s it - then go to your domain URL and login as email@example.com - password (feel free to change those credentials locally).
Yes, after downloading you can add/edit fields or more CRUDs or make other changes, and then download the project again. Unlimited times.
Currently we support Laravel 5.2 and 5.3. And we plan to support future Laravel versions as soon as they come out.
Generating the project automatically is quite a tricky thing, so there might be bugs with un-tested situations. But we're ready for that.
First, any production bug that appears - goes to our BugSnag and we try to investigate every one of them.
But if you need help to resolve the issue immediately, then please shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with all the information describing the issue. We will try to respond as quickly as possible.
There are quite a lot of free similar tools and packages online, but their main problem is lack of support and updates - the authors probably don’t have time (and/or motivation) to release new versions and answer every issue ticket.
That’s why we wanted to have a financial support for our tool so we would be able to have a professional support, release new versions and work on QuickAdmin for the years to come.
You can compare our model with Laravel Spark - Laravel itself is free and open-source, but a tool that saves time with Laravel is not free.
At the moment we support only Credit Cards via Stripe.
